I did not go to this party, but I went to an underground last nite. I am glad I decided not to go. It was a big mess..
If you are interested read more here.. This is all thanx to money hungry promoters here in CA.  Shocked

people were jumping from the balcony to the floor to get closer to the stage . would you mind filling me in on why that calls for the name calling of LA promoters ?

this wasnt a rave per say. it was an event. alot of real ravers did not attend. it was very mainstream. i am not that positive on it all, but i just know that the event was over 80 bux.. the capacity was over what it should have been by 5,000 people. i am still looking into this cuz i am shocked by the videos...

people were jumping down the balconies because they wanted a better view , not because they ran out of space on the upper  balconies . . . right ?

i almost went... sooo glad i didnt

and yeah i guess it was 85 at the door? but it sold out, and they oversold it. i guess 17,000 people got in eventually.. they are refunding everyone though which is actually kind of surprising.

I thought it was shut down 2 hours into the event, not with 2 hours left.

What do you expect when you oversell by 5k? How do you not notice an extra 5 thousand people coming in.....It would start to get tight after the first overage of 1k and people can't move....lol Fucking idiots. I don't call it money hungry, it's just sheer negligence and they should pay more attention.
